The Website of the grant making charity for students of land based subjects
In the last decade help has been given to:
- 87 students on degree courses.
- 39 students in H.E. Courses.
- 151 students on vocational courses.
- 13 students on research projects.
To enable them to pay fees, living costs or Fares which they otherwise could not afford
The Charity has funds each year to use for grants for students whose career progress is blocked by lack of money to pay for fees and living costs at college. About 70 students each year apply for help and grants are given to about half that number. Each application is checked for eligibility, needs to be supported by two references, and at interview the Applicant's actual needs are considered. The Trust meets three times a Year to award grants in May, July and September. If you would like to apply, check that you are eligible and send for an Application form; remember that funds are not unlimited and it is a good move to get your application in before the summer preceding, the Academic Year when you will need help.
